Scholarships

Financial Aid
There are no financial aid programs available for the certificate programs that are offered by the University of Utah, Department of Radiology. This includes PELL grants and student loans. The 50% tuition waiver for University employees does not apply to the programs as well. They are separate from the University of Utah’s programs of study and are managed directly through the hospital and department of radiology.
Financial arrangements for tuition and expenses to include health insurance must be made personally by the student.

Students often work 15 – 20 hours outside of school responsibilities. The programs fully support working students as long as the job does not interview with the school calendar. Students who already have their RT certification often find employment through the University’s diagnostic department. Please check on-line for job availability and talk to the education director about opportunities.
