Clinical Education at the University
Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Vascular Technology. The student will complete professional coursework during their sophomore and junior year and the senior year is dedicated to full-time clinical experiences in a vascular laboratory.
Annually, the University accepts 1 - 2 students from OIT who are in their senior year to complete their vascular externship. OIT decides which students will attend the University. The students arrive in July and finish in May. They work full-time in the vascular lab completing their clinical competencies and are welcomed as part of the vascular team. The University offers extensive experiences in vascular with well experienced technologists and physicians.
