University Health Care and the University of Utah’s Department of Radiology welcome Lubdha Shah M.D., as an Assistant Professor in Radiology.
Dr. Shah received her medical doctorate from the University of Louisville and spent her internship at University Hospitals of Cleveland. She completed her Radiology Residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Shah then completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Prior to joining the University of Utah, Dr. Shah was an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia Health System, in Charlottesville, Virginia. During her years of practice at the University of Virginia Dr. Shah was the Assistant Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she served as the Neuroradiology Quality Assurance Liaison.
Dr. Shah has published numerous peer reviewed research publications and has given presentations at internationally attended conferences such as ASNR, ASITN and RSNA.
Dr. Shah’s Neuroradiology interests include advanced MR imaging techniques such as functional MRI, diffusion tensor imaging and perfusion MR for the brain and spine. In addition to diagnostic radiology, Dr. Shah also performs spine interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections and biopsies.
