Cell Therapy Facility

Regenerative Medicine

The Regenerative Medicine Program at the Cell Therapy Facility (CTF) was created three years ago. Our Director saw an increasing need to interface with multidisciplinary translational teams, develop new cell therapy protocols, and raise community awareness on the exciting potential of stem cell-based therapies.

The program exists at CTF's 13,000 sq. foot state-of-the art laboratory, which is compliant with current Good Manufacturing, Laboratory and Tissue Practices (cGMP, cGLP, cGTP). Since inception, we have collaborated with many scientists and clinicians at multiple academic institutions and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. We provide product manufacturing and regulatory support required for IND (Investigational New Drug) submission and support of Phase I/II clinical trials. Contract manufacturing includes technology transfer, scale-up, vendor qualification, risk assessment, cell isolation, characterization, purification and expansion, master cell bank production and quality assurance. The Regenerative Medicine Program strives to be the premiere translational program in the intermountain West, bridging application of discovery research to clinical trials and commercialization. Following is a list of cell types we have manufactured, or established and maintained for our clients:
